You will be able to get rid of pounds if you consistently going with following Weight Loss tips:

1-  It is necessary to have breakfast. It is the most important meal for the day.

2-  Having fresh fruits. Natural sugar is always better than processed sugar. Eating fruits like apple, watermelons, grapes, tomatoes. These items have high water content, so you may have lot of it.

3-  Eat more veggies and fruits to increase fiber intake. Fiber helps digestive system to process food.

4-  Don’t just eat when you see food, eat only when you are hungry.

5-  Do not have heavy meals, slip it into 5-6 small small meals, it keeps you from overeating and feeling full.

6-  Drink a glass of water before start a meal. It helps to control the portion of food intake.

7-  Stand when you watching TV. Try to walk anyway you can, walk around when you on the phone, or walk to grocery store if it is nearby. It helps to burn your calories. Check your weight before and after you exercise, it is to motivate you to carry on with it.

8-  Have a 10-15 minute short run with some music on, the more you move the more weight you will lose.

9-  Go for swim. Swimming is a effective way on burning calories.

10- It will be BEST if you can stay away from alcohol and quite smoking

How to change to a healthier lifestyle?
I want to get in shape while I am young and capable. the problem is I get into these bouts where I work out and start eating healthier, but after a month or less I am back to my old lazy ways. I usually see results within the month but I guess its not enough to keep me focused.

Now I am traveling for the next month but when I get back in January I want to start a "new life". I want to eat healthier, run daily, and resume strength training. But how do I not fall out of it this time around? I want to incorporate it into my lifestyle.

    Well your BMI is about 25/26 and you have big thighs so I wouldnt be as concerned about dieting to lose weight but more concerned about eating much healthier. As well as the obvious fruits and vegetables try to make sure to eat beans, fish, milk and berries, because they are often forgotten sources of important vitamins you might be lacking in.
    And don't procrastinate in asking about vitamin suppliments either, thats a good idea.
