Most of the people<span id="more-8"></span> associate the drinking alcohol when they are happy or having the good time, when in the reality they are often socializing actually that is the providing them enjoyment. It loosens the person’s inhibitions, &amp; even can make the person feels more relaxed &amp; at the ease in the situations at the time when they are at the uncomfortable time. Unfortunately, the same can lead to the over-reliance on the drinking, &amp; this is the main reason from where the alcoholism mainly stems.<br /> At the same time drinking can provide most of the hours of enjoyment and fun when the socializing for the lots of people, after this the effects is not enjoyable at all. Most of the people are actually not enjoying the hangovers. Even though the next day when they got wake up they are ashamed of the behavior they had done at the night when they were drunk. It can even cause the person to act in the ways they would not ever dream of doing when they are in the sober state, &amp; in such a way they can be very dangerous to them. The people behavior changes when the intoxicated are at adverse, &amp; the time when they become violent, aggressive, &amp; generally feels unpleasant when they are near the person.<br /> Alcohol had proven to be addictive in the similar way as the smoking is – &amp; in most of the ways become worse. Remaining dependant on the alcohol affects the way the person is towards the other people and at the same time they can affect the way the people feel about themselves, &amp; in the long terms alcohol violence can lead to the serious bouts of the mental instability and depression. They are equally as the damage caused to the body while smoking, and also affects the person’s liver drastically when taken for the longer periods of its abuse. Splurge drinking is also the same, &amp; if the person does the drinking it becomes very important in ensuring that the person do not exceed the daily allowance than recommended.<br /> Alcohol drinking is very easier in giving up than a person can ever think, &amp; the incentive is very clear. Doing the same will not only will improves the person’s overall health &amp; makes them feel much better about themselves than before both physically &amp; mentally, but also at the same time them will learn very soon that they don’t have to drunk further in their future in order to enjoy themselves. Stop drinking when the person is out of their home will save them the lots of money as the alcoholic beverages on an average can be cost at around £3.50 &amp; upwards for the single pint of the beer &amp; again the same will have the positive effect on their life as the whole. Alcohol is becoming the cause for the stress, instead of getting relief from the same. <p>Aging for most of us is not something we are looking forward to. Life can go on for many years. In view of the fact, we all need to learn how to relax and take care of ourselves so we can see a brighter future. </p>
<p>We all need to make our life simple. Keeping it simple will help reduce stress. Sometimes we have to give up our long-year running homes where our children were raised. As one ages the stress of preserving, our home increases. Money usually becomes a big issue, which causes stress. The maintenance and taxes alone are very stressful for someone that is living on social security these days.  </p>
<p>How to decide: <br />Do you plan to stay in the same area you live now? Do you prefer to live in a better climate? The questions demand an answer before mortgaging your home. If you plan to move to a better climate to live healthier, consider the climate. Many of us suffer from allergies, hay fever, or other ailments due to climate changes. If you plan to live healthier and reduce, your risks of upper respiratory conditions then consider your options before making a decision to move. You want to consider your budget as well. If you are living a fixed-income, consider the low-cost housing projects. </p>
<p>In your community, you may find housing projects for seniors. If you want to cut back your expenses without moving to another climate, consider these options. You will find housing for seniors however in other areas in the event you choose to move. Many housing projects for the seniors will provide you with links. The links are for your convenience, which includes free meals, cheap transportation and so on. At the buildings, you will likely meet new friends, which makes life more purposeful and fulfilling.  Once you&#8217;ve decide where you are going to relocate it takes burden off your mind. </p>
<p> Don&#8217;t get me wrong there will always be some stress in your life that you will not have control of.  Now that you&#8217;ve made one of the biggest decision about where you going to live, start thinking about enjoying life. Join an exercise group or get some neighbors to join you for a walk. Walk on sunny days so your body gets natural vitamin D from the sunrays. The vitamins will help keep your bones strong. Exercising helps keep us fit and is a good way to meet new people while having fun.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t forget to watch your diet and make sure your getting enough vitamins to keep yourself healthy.  If not sure what vitamins you need and how much consult you physician he can help you make a plan or send you to a dietician to help you with it.  Sometimes as we grow older, we don&#8217;t eat as much, so supplement vitamins are needed. <p>Since we now live in the information age, if we really want to be healthier, then it is possible to improve with age, rather than giving in to the downhill spiral of deterioration and ill health. Past research has proven it to be so.<br<span id="more-5"></span> /><br />

You may have heard the saying, &#8220;An ounce of prevention is cheaper than the pound of cure.&#8221; You might be interested to know that should you continue to do things that are not healthy, you will be known as being &#8220;bad&#8221;. Things such as, eating poorly, smoking, refusing to be more active, this is commonly known as &#8220;Lifestyle Suicide.&#8221;</p>
<p>There is a much better way. Here are some of the more significant areas that involve lifestyle and our ability to make choices. Keep in mind that by choosing wisely you are focusing on a healthier lifestyle choice and will improve your health to its greatest potential ever.</p>
<p>Cigarettes: nicotine is a very highly addictive substance. Research shows that the average smoker makes seven attempts to quit. Ex-smokers say that it was all worth the effort although the cravings do still last for years. Quitting smoking is the most effective choice a person can make in improving their health. So if you have decided that you want to quit, then do it now!</p>
<p>Food is all about what you eat and how. There is a serious problem with obesity in our country. Portion size must be taken into consideration, but you must also take care to eat the right foods and exercise in order to receive the full benefit of a healthier lifestyle.</p>
<p>Deciding to lose the extra 15 or 25 pounds is noble, but dieting alone will just not work. The key to achieving your goal is activity. Avoiding or even eliminating completely, any refined carbohydrates such as white sugar and flour, along with regular yet moderately exerting activities will eliminate the necessity of measuring or weighing of food, and will almost guarantee that you lose one to two pounds a week.</p>
<p>Avoid foods with trans fats, like margarine, white sugar, flour and prepared foods. Instead eat more raw and unprocessed foods. Don&#8217;t miss out on breakfast and never eat late at night.</p>
<p>Eat foods rich in anti-oxidants like darker colored fruits and vegetables, purple grape juice, green tea, red wine and dark chocolate. Try to drink four or more glasses of water daily.</p>
<p>If you decide to start exercising remember to Keep It Simple. Start off by walking for 15 minutes three times a week; this should cause you to get a bit of glow. Gradually increase your walk, causing a bit more of a glow. Although there is no upper or set limit on how long you choose to walk for, the health benefits do get greater after 60 minutes of activity.</p>
<p>If you do decide to start taking better care of yourself and live a healthier lifestyle, it is recommended that you get some advice from professionals who will take care of you in a holistic way, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Prevention of health problems before they even become symptomatic is the best approach.</p>

You don&#8217;t have to make any drastic lifestyle changes to get back those good old days. All it takes is 5 simple, easy steps to live a healthier lifestyle and add life to your years as well as years to your life. </p>
<p>Eat Smart</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t try and turn your diet upside down in an attempt to lead a healthie<span id="more-10"></span>r lifestyle. Instead these small steps will go a long way in helping you eat healthier </p>
<p>Have a big breakfast and then eat smaller meals more frequently during the day.<br />
Increase your intake fruit and vegetables. Add fruit to your cereal. Eat a salad before every meal. <br />
Drink lots of water through the day- the minimum recommended amount is 8 glasses a day. <br />
Replace full-fat foods with low-fat alternatives.  </p>
<p>Exercise your Body and your Brain</p>
<p>Dump that boring old treadmill. You are more likely to give up exercising if you keep running and going nowhere. Here are a few, easy ways to include some aerobic activity in your daily life and have fun doing it!</p>
<p>Play beach volleyball in summer or go swimming or run around with the kids in the park.<br />
Go skiing in winter or at the very least try shoveling the snow off your driveway.<br />
Walk to work, walk to the supermarket, walk up the stairs- just walk.<br />
Join belly-dancing classes for a fun way to get fab-abs.  <br />
When you&#8217;ve had enough physical activity, don&#8217;t turn on the TV yet. Instead stimulate your mind as you try and solve a crossword or a sudoku puzzle or put together a double-sided jigsaw.  </p>
<p>Smile a While; Laugh a Lot</p>
<p>Miles of smiles and lots of laughter is good for your mind, body and soul. It reduces your stress levels and blood pressure, increases your feel-good factor as well as your circle of friends, gives your circulation a boost, &#8230;. The list goes on and it&#8217;s all good.  </p>
<p>Relax</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t sweat the small stuff. Leave it be. Make a list of what is important to you and let the other things slide. Constant stress is a sure killer. Let your motto be to &#8216; Change the things you can and accept the things you cannot&#8217;. Most importantly- learn to tell the difference between the two. </p>
<p>Look on the brighter side of things</p>
<p>Positive thinking enhances your psychological, emotional and physical health. Optimistic people are healthier and happier. They live longer and are better equipped to cope with life&#8217;s many adversities.</p>
